Getting to and from Airport
The
Regional Transportation District (RTD) manages five bus routes under the airport express bus service called SkyRide. The fare for one-way SkyRide trip ranges between $9 and $13.
Taxi, bus and limousine service is available from the airport to downtown. Many car rental companies have outlets at the airport, such as

RTD Light Rail
The
Light Rail is the best way to get around Denver. The light rail operates every 5 to 10 minutes daily. This network has six lines running across downtown Denver and the suburban areas. The fare varies depending on the journey. The city is split up into four zones- zone one is the city center and zone four covers the outskirts. The fare for one-way trip within zone one and two is $2.25 per person. Get the tickets from the vending machine available at all the light rail stations. Day passes are also available. One-day pass to zone one and two is of $6.75, and to travel to suburban area it may cost $14. Day passes can be purchased online or from
RTD sales outlets.

The Regional Transport District runs over 125 bus routes throughout Denver. The fare for one-way trip ranges between $2.25 and $5, depending on the type of bus. After boarding the bus, pay the fare in cash. One or five day passes are also available in order to travel via bus in Denver. The cost of the pass ranges between $6.75 and $51.25. The buses in Denver operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
